About Us
We are honored to serve our community
We are a husband-and-wife team, both licensed funeral directors working together to care for those who have died and those to whom they are important. Whether you reach out to us prior to a death or at your time of need, we welcome you to share your stories, your ideas, and your questions so that the care we provide reflects the life we are here to remember.
Our commitment
We believe that every life is important and that caring for and remembering those who have died helps us continue living.
We strive to:
Create meaningful experiences that uniquely reflect every life.
Educate families and the community on all options available.
Facilitate conversation and healing to help families begin their grief journey.
Serve every person with compassion, respect and integrity.
Foster participation at every stage of preparation, care and services.
Listen with the utmost attention to detail to provide outstanding service every time.
Work within each family's budget by focusing on service rather than sales.
Jarman
Family Funeral Home began in our hearts and became a reality in 2025 here in Lennox, South Dakota. While our business is newly founded, we proudly step into a funeral home with nearly a century of history — the former home of Dindot-Klusmann Funeral Home.
We acknowledge and honor the significant role Dindot-Klusmann played in serving the communities of Lennox, Chancellor, Davis, Worthing, and Tea. The original funeral home was founded by LeRoy W. Dindot in 1927 and evolved through decades of compassionate service. From its early days as L.W. Dindot Service — introducing arterial embalming to the region — to its later stewardship under the Klusmann family - first Joel & Delphi Klusmann followed by their son Jay & wife Julie, the business built a legacy of local trust and care that spanned nearly 100 years.
Always family owned and operated, the funeral home will continue that legacy under the new family name of Jarman Family Funeral Home.

Owners
Our experience in funeral service is rooted in family. Our life together began while providing service at a family-owned funeral home in Colorado. Since moving to South Dakota, we have continued in funeral service, Brett as an embalmer and Rachel as a funeral director. Throughout our career, we have gained a wealth of experience serving different cultural and faith traditions, facing a wide variety of circumstances, and planning many traditional funerals and non-traditional celebrations.
We are honored to bring that experience to our own funeral home. We hope that this can be a place of refuge, where families can find comfort and support to remember those they have lost and where every person feels like family.
